The Radical Evolution Street Theatre Crew was founded in Oct 2023 by a group of theater makers who participated in a two-week exchange with the historic, New Delhi-based street theater company Jana Natya Manch (aka Janam). Collectively we are a multidisciplinary crew who are writers, musicians, choreographers, performers, producers and community organizers. We make work in support of left and progressive social movements in NYC and beyond.

(DIS) ORIENTATION: A People’s CUNY - created in partnership with Professional Staff Congress (PSC) Brooklyn College Chapter, and the New Delhi-based street theatre company Jana Natya Manch, this piece takes on the shocking substandard conditions and austerity measures at CUNY Campuses.
The Modern Media Circus: A satirical critique of mainstream media coverage of the genocide in Gaza, this satyrical circus style piece pulls no punches in taking down the manufactured media narrative.
E-R-I-C: A sendup of your favorite Village People song, giving NYC’s mayor credit for what he’s really done - funneling money to the police and cutting deals for his billionaire friends!
People’s Budget Endgame Trailer: A child in a future version of New York City where libraries, public housing, and childcare are no more. If only the Mayor hadn’t made those budget cuts in 2024! If only he’d listened to The People’s Budget! Can this child go back in time and get the City Council to save the day?
